Terms of Service

Formion AI ("Formion", "we", "us") provides AI-assisted trading analytics, portfolio aggregation, automated strategy execution, and Telegram bot integration at formion.ai. These Terms govern your use of the website, dashboard, Trade Center, and the @formiontradingbot Telegram bot ("Services").

You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to use trading and crypto services in your jurisdiction. By creating an account you confirm that doing so does not violate any law applicable to you, your residence, or your tax residence.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials (password, exchange API keys, wallet private keys, Telegram session) safe. We store API keys and wallet private keys encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM; the encryption key is held in our infrastructure. We cannot recover lost passwords without your verified email or your Telegram link.

Trading cryptocurrencies, equities, derivatives, and other financial instruments carries substantial risk and may result in total loss of your capital. Formion provides tools, signals, AI suggestions, and automated executors — none of these are financial advice. You alone are responsible for every order placed on or via Formion, whether you submitted it manually or whether an AI/strategy bot you configured submitted it on your behalf.

When you connect an exchange or wallet, you grant Formion permission to act on your behalf only within the scope of the API key permissions you supply. We strongly recommend read-only or trade-only keys with withdrawal disabled. We never request, store, or transmit your exchange password or 2FA seed. You can revoke our access at any time on the exchange side.

AI outputs are probabilistic forecasts derived from public market data and model heuristics. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You may enable automated execution of strategies; doing so authorizes the configured strategy bot to place real orders on your behalf, including stop-loss, take-profit, and re-entry orders, subject to the limits you set.

You may attach your own API keys (Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Google) or connect your own ChatGPT subscription via OAuth from Profile → Connections. By connecting a ChatGPT account, you authorize Formion to use that account on your behalf for trading-assistant queries you initiate; your subscription remains yours, usage counts against your own provider quota, and you may disconnect at any time. We store API keys AES-256-GCM-encrypted at rest; OAuth credentials live in an isolated per-user sandbox we cannot read. We are not responsible for any third-party provider terms, throttling, or account actions taken by Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, or Google.

You may not (a) reverse-engineer or scrape the Services beyond reasonable rate-limits; (b) use the Services for market manipulation, wash trading, or any illegal activity; (c) circumvent any security or rate-limit measure; (d) submit fraudulent payment, sanctioned-jurisdiction connections, or stolen credentials.

Base usage is free. Premium tiers, paid AI strategies, copy-trading subscriptions, and FOM-token-gated features may incur fees disclosed at the point of purchase. Crypto payments and on-chain transactions are final.

You may delete your account at any time from Profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or pose a risk to other users.

The Services are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Formion disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for any trading loss, lost profits, missed opportunities, exchange downtime, API failures, or third-party service outages.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the total fees you paid to Formion in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if no fees were paid.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app and via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
